Question Bank Management

1Create Question Categories

  1. Navigate to: Menu > Assessment > Question Category
  2. Add Main Categories: Create broad categories (e.g., HRM, Finance, IT, Operations)
  3. Add Sub-Categories: Create nested categories (e.g., HRM > e-Leave, HRM > Payroll)
  4. Organize Hierarchically: Maintain logical structure for easy navigation
  5. Assign Category Managers: Designate administrators for each category

Tip: Create categories based on departments, skills, compliance areas, or training modules for better organization.

2Add Questions to Bank

Manual Addition:
  1. Go to: Menu > Assessment > Question List
  2. Click "Add Question": Create individual questions
  3. Enter Question Details:
    • Question text (HTML formatting supported)
    • Question type (Multiple Choice, True/False, Subjective)
    • Options for multiple choice
    • Correct answer(s)
    • Explanation for answer
    • Difficulty level (Easy, Medium, Hard)
    • Points/weightage
  4. Tag by category for easier retrieval
  5. Save question to bank
Bulk Upload:
  1. Use "Bulk Insert Questions": Upload via CSV file
  2. Download CSV template for proper formatting
  3. Fill template with questions and answers
  4. Upload CSV file for automatic import
  5. Review and confirm imported questions

Process:
  1. Go to Menu > Assessment > Add Set
  2. Define Set Name & Course Name
  3. Add Description/Instructions (HTML supported)
  4. Set Completion Time limit
  5. Configure Question Order (sequential or random)
  6. Set Display Answer Mode (after submission, never, or specific date)
  7. Configure Retry Options (number of attempts)
  8. Select passing score percentage
  9. Manually pick questions from bank

Random Question Pick

Auto-generated unique assessments for each attempt

Process:
  1. Click New Set > Random Pick Questions
  2. Select source category/categories
  3. Set number of questions to pick randomly
  4. Define difficulty distribution if needed
  5. System auto-generates unique set for each attempt
  6. Configure other set parameters as needed

Assigning Assessments

1Assign Set to Employees

  1. Navigate to: Menu > Assessment > Set List
  2. Select assessment set and click Assign
  3. Choose Employees:
    • Select individual employees
    • Select entire department
    • Select by job title or role
    • Select employee groups
  4. Schedule Assessment:
    • Daily: Recurring daily assessment
    • Specific Date: One-time assessment on set date
    • Monthly: Recurring monthly assessment
    • Interval: Custom intervals (weekly, bi-weekly)
  5. Set Start & End Dates: Define assessment availability window
  6. Configure Notifications: Auto-notify employees about assignment
  7. Save assignment

2Copy Schedules

  1. Go to: Menu > Assignment > Assign Set
  2. Use "Copy Schedule" feature
  3. Select source assignment with desired schedule
  4. Choose target employees or departments
  5. Apply same schedule to multiple employees
